Origin:
A formerly exceptional, if biologically normal human being, the trajectory of Ezekiel Adams' life was redirected after a chance encounter with the bizarre. Touched by the spirit of Gugalanna, Ezekeil has been transformed into a were-bull, one equipped with strange mystical powers!
Known Powers:
Animal Hybridization / Self: altered by a primordial bull god, Ezekiel gained the ability to transform into a bull himself, either partially or in full. Acquiring this power has greatly increased Ezekiel's size and stature, and gives him considerable benefits both in and out of a fight.
In either his half or full bull form, Ezekiel has horns which inflict Slashing damage, and hooves which act as hard points, bolstering punch and kick damage by +1 RS. A parital transformation gives him rank value 2 growth, while a full transformation raises this +1 RS, giving him a +1 size factor.
Animal Sympathy: though they aren't sentient, Ezekiel has demonstated the abillity to communicate with bovine creatures. He can do this with rank value 10 ability, verbalizing what he wants to say to them, and in turn interpreting their noises perfectly to understand their responses.
Damage Reduction: like most therianthropes, Ezekiel is tough... really tough. While he lacks specialized resistances, damaging effects suffer a -2 RS penalty before affecting him altogether, no matter their origins. This greatly bolsters his survivability in most situations.
Regeneration: similarly, Ezekiel possesses the fast-healing knack most therianthropes benefit from. Having this power at rank value 10, Ezekiel can regenerate one lost Health point per turn. If not slain by one outright, Ezekiel can eventually recover from almost any injury.
Super Senses: sharing this knack with most bovines, Ezekiel has surprisingly sharp senses. All five of his standard senses work much better than those of an ordinary human, doing so with rank value 30 ability, giving him an acute awareness of his surroundings at all times.
Limitations / Enhancements:
Burnout: after reverting to his human form, no matter how long he has maintained a hybrid or full bull transformation, Ezekiel is utterly wiped out. He suffers a -2 RS penalty to all ACTIONs he attempts for 1d100 turns, and a -1 RS penalty to all ACTIONs for the next hour.
Susceptibility / Fire: though not quite as weak to heat as normal bovines can be, Ezekiel is especially susceptible to the effects of fire. Flames that come in contact with him ignore his damage reduction, and inflict a minimum of one quarter of his total Health score.
Equipment:
Sidearm: though he rarely even thinks about it these days, Ezekiel carries a service weapon in the field. He can fire a single round from this weapon to inflict rank value 6 Piercing damage, or a short burst of ammunition to instead inflict rank value 10 Piercing damage.
Smartphones: something of a secret government operatives, Ezekiel maintains multiple smartphones. He has one for 'civilian' use and one for work-related calls. Both of these can transceive radio signals with rank value 4 ability, giving them an optimistic maximum range of five miles.
Quirks:
Abnormal Attribute: even when he's in his human configuration, Ezekiel doesn't look entirely normal. His eyes often glow red when he's angry, a trait his other two forms share of course, but his brow constantly seems angrily furrowed ever since he was touched by Gugalanna's hoof.
Stubborn: being frustratingly bull-headed is another trait Ezekiel acquired after his brush with the bizarre, always needing to win a conflict no matter the cost. To yield in the face of any opposition, physical or otherwise, Ezekiel must first pass a Willpower ACTION at a -2 RS penalty.
Skills:
Guns: all three of his major jobs have required that Ezekiel be trained in the proper use of firearms. Whether he's holding a standard, semi-automatic, or fully automatic rifle or pistol, Ezekiel may do so as if his Coordination trait was +1 RS higher than the above would indicate.
Law: having earned his law degree in college, Ezekiel is well-versed in the finer points of both state and federal law where he's passed the bar. He may attempt Intellect ACTIONs based on legal knowledge as if the rank value of that trait was +1 RS higher than is listed above.
Law Enforcement: his true calling, even if he didn't know it at first, Ezekiel craves order in the world. As a federal officer, he can legally carry a firearm and make arrests throughout the nation, and has numerous legal contacts from both college and in the Agency he can rely upon.
Martial Arts style B: not much of a brawler, Ezekiel was nonetheless trained in self-defense by the Army when he enlisted. He may add a +1 RS bonus to any unarmed fighting ACTION he attempts, whether it is a punch, kick, bite, headbutt, elbow smash, knee drop, or anything else.
Military / United States: his first real job, Ezekiel learned how to dispense force with precision and care after enlisting in the Army. His near-decade in the Army gave him numerous skills he uses to this very day, along with a plethora of military contacts from his time as an MP.
Contacts:
As a member of the Bullet Sponges, Ezekiel can readily rely upon the members of that organization for assistance should he need it, for they are a tightly-knit group of combatants. Ezekiel also retains numerous other military contacts, as well as several in law enforcement circles.
Costume:
Most of the time, Ezekiel wears business attire. Whether he's on the job or off, Ezekiel typically wears a full suit, of either Navy blue or black color, with a white collared shirt beneath its coat. He complements these with heavily shined, black leather shoes and a black leather belt.
These suits rarely survive his transformations intact, however. As such, his ensemble looks tattered when he assumes his hybrid form, barely clinging to his now-larger body. If he completes a full transformation into a bull, however, his suit will be shredded until it falls right off his body.
Personality:
For most of his life, Ezekiel's personality could almost entirely be summed up by the word 'dour'. He's always been the strong, slient type, and this tendency only grew stronger as he began to enforce the law. However, becoming a shape changer has altered Ezekiel's very mind somewhat.
To wit, Ezekiel's demeanor seems to have developed an edge. These days he always seems like he's moments from exploding in a rage, particularly if he hasn't transformed for some time. Sometimes he'll do so simply to keep himself from lashing out at everyone around him.
Real Name: Ezekiel Adams

Other Distinguishing Characteristics: Ezekiel features a tall, imposing build even in his human configuration.
In his hybrid state, Ezekiel has the head of a bull, including large horns, hooves on his feet and hoof-like surfaces on the back of his fingers, and grows a coat of fur. Furthermore, he swells in size until he stands nine feet tall, easily letting him loom over any oppponent.
In the rare instances where he transforms into a full bull, Ezekiel looks, well, like a dirty blonde colored bull.
Story:
When he was growing up, Ezekiel never intended to get into law enforcement. No, he always thought he'd get a cushy desk job doing middle management work. He wasn't into the idea of a job so much as the money behind it, and as such went to college with that shallow goal in mind.
While in school, however, Ezekiel found himself impressed by the drive of several classmates who were studying law, if not their actual class load. In particular, he was inspired by, and smitten with, a young woman who was intent on joining the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
Wanting to impress her, Ezekiel started taking her classes, at least when their schedules aligned properly, and in time this means to an end became an end unto itself. He wasn't sure when the law bug caught him, but catch him it did, and Ezekiel flourished in his unexpected major.
Ultimately marrying his sweetheart before graduating, Ezekiel enlisted in the Army afterwards, intending to gain experience with the military poilce before joining the Bureau. He originally only planned a four-year enlistment, but enjoyed the work enough to stay for a second hitch.
By the time he graduated from the FBI academy, Ezekiel's wife had already been a special agent for years, and the two worked hard to enforce the law nationwide. Things seemed to be going great for the couple, at least until Ezekiel's fateful encounter with a strange, mystical cult.
Investigating a series of bizarre crimes in Nebraska, Ezekiel and several agents were ambushed by a small band of Celestial Bull-Riders. While his fellow agents were slain by the occult weirdness of these scofflaws, something in their sorcery affected Ezekiel when his foes left him for dead.
Transformed by the spectral essence of the primorial bull deity Gugalanna, Ezekiel didn't die. No, he rose anew as a therianthrope, a man who could transform at will into either a bull or a strange, hybrid man-bull form! Naturally, adjusting to this drastic change took Ezekiel some time.
Assisted in his recovery by both his wife and Doctor Inexplicable, a private doctor who specializes in bizarre ailments, Ezekiel slowly came to terms with his unfathomable new reality. Shortly before returning to work, Ezekiel was offered a job by the one and only Bullet Sponges!
Officially known as Anti-Terrorist Group Omega, the Bullet Sponges are a secretive, cross-disciplinary military squad sanctioned by the US government. They felt that, with his particular background and his newly acquired abilities, he'd be invaluable for their war against occult terrorists.
Wanting to make lemonade from the lemons life had dealt him, Ezekiel accepted the Bullet Sponges' offer. He's still officially a member of the FBI, of course, but the Sponges rely upon Ezekiel to lead missions on American soil for legal purposes. Posse Comitatus, and all that.
So, despite being a were-bull, Ezekiel continues to work in law enforcement, not as a g-man but as a... G-Taur!
